CONSCIOUS CONCEPTION IS A 1-DAY WORKSHOP OF EXPERT HOLISTIC CARE TO SUPPORT YOU IN INTENTIONALLY BECOMING PREGNANT.
The dreaded period. When you are trying to conceive, it becomes so much more than cramps, bloating, and mood swings. Getting your period can evoke feelings of failure, shame, and even fear. Thoughts like “will I ever be able to get pregnant?” or “do I need (or can I even afford) fertility treatments?” run on repeat when another cycle comes and goes. If this sounds like you, please know that you are not alone. We are a diverse collection of holistic care providers and have worked with countless women who have felt discouraged, defeated, and alone on their journey to getting pregnant.
Unfortunately, preparing our bodies for pregnancy is not information that is typically passed down from our parents or something that we were ever taught in school. Yet it is vital knowledge that every woman who has a period, and may want to get pregnant someday, should know.
In this workshop, we are going to teach the foundation for getting pregnant using your body's innate wisdom, naturopathic medicine, and ancient traditions. Before you spend money on expensive and invasive western medicine procedures, I invite you to invest in your body and learn how you can take natural and effective steps toward conscious conception that will extend far beyond the next nine months.
Haley is your founder & host of the Conscious Conception workshop. She is a women’s health provider for those wishing to consciously conceive, use conscious contraception, or overcome reproductive disease. She received a Masters of Science in Nutrition from the National University of Natural Medicine, a degree dedicated to healing using food as medicine. Within this time and beyond, she has specialized in body literacy using East Asian dietetics and fertility awareness.
Haley’s dietetic philosophy stems from considering the thermal nature and energy of food to match a person's inborn makeup. Weaving in fertility awareness, her work is devoted to helping women understand and take control of their internal landscape.
Dr. Britt Stamer
Dr. Britt Stamer is a Naturopathic Doctor that focuses on finding the root cause of health concerns, by treating patients holistically and as a unique individuals. She has a passion for preventative medicine, educating patients about their bodies and health, and serving the community.
Dr. Stamer has expertise in women’s health, including PMS, painful periods, PCOS, acne, menopause, preconception, and infertility. She also treats gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune conditions, common complaints, such as insomnia, migraines, and fatigue, and other hormonal disorders, including thyroid and adrenal dysfunction.
She uses a variety of modalities including nutrition, lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, biotherapeutic drainage, and homeopathy.
Her goal is to empower patients physically, mentally, and emotionally as they travel along their health journey.
Mia Tarduno, RYT500
Mia is a Women’s Mentor, Yoga Instructor, and Women’s Gathering Facilitator. Her mission is to connect people with their natural states of being to restore balance in their health, lifestyle, work, and relationships. Her offerings include movement, yoga, rituals, menstrual cycle awareness, and exploring vulnerable moments and conversations.
She is a 500hr Registered Yoga Instructor, Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher and Certified Professional Life Coach. Her work blends tools of women’s wisdom, breath work, somatic movement, cyclical living, and yoga to nourish and find balance in the body, mind, and spirit.
